How to distribute a combo around a magic ring

Place a saved combo beside the magic ring and press Distribute. The whole combo is copied evenly around the ring.

Steps

  1. Place a magic ring on the Freehand canvas.

  2. Save the stitches you repeat as a combo, for example a semicircle of 2 double crochet, a chain 3 arch and 2 more double crochet. The guide on making and saving a combo shows how.

  3. Open My Combos on the right, click the small picture of your combo, then click the chart beside the ring. The combo is placed and selected.

  4. Press Distribute on the small toolbar above it.

  5. Type 4, then press Distribute again. The combo is copied evenly around the ring, with the same space between each copy.

Good to know

Each copy is a group

Every copy of the combo is a group of its own. Click one stitch of a copy, and the whole copy is selected.

Same rule as one stitch

Distribute works on a combo as it does on a single stitch: the copies are spaced in equal steps all the way round, with no gap at the end of the round.
